What we believe about the Angels (Bishop Jonathan Baker)

Here is a great teaching given by our Bishop for Michaelmas Day. He packs into just ten minutes all the main things we need to know from Scripture and the Church’s teaching about the Holy Angels. This is certainly a video to share!

Bishop Jonathan Baker on the Risen Christ coming to his people

So many people have said how much they have appreciated the meditations given throughout this Holy Week by Bishop Jonathan Baker. This one helps us to understand how powerfully the risen Lord comes to us in the Blessed Sacrament, so that we know him as did the disciples at Emmaus 'in the breaking of the Bread'. Bishop Jonathan ends with Benediction.

Christ is Risen. Alleluia!

At the end of Holy Communion
I reserved the Blessed Sacrament in the tabernacle
for the prayers of the people and Communion of the sick.
