This may be of use: a simple HOUSE BLESSING

Last night I was asked to email a friend the House Blessing order of service I have used for a long time, for blessings outside the context of a Mass. This was put together from a number of sources, including books of blessings, the RSV Bible, and the Book of Common Prayer.

The service is designed to be user-friendly for Anglicans and their guests. Everything is there on one A4 sheet, readings, prayers – the lot. One feature of the rite is that the guests remain in the living room singing (or saying!) the Te Deum Laudamus while the priest and occupant(s) go through the house blessing each room - something I observed in my first curacy, and have done ever since. It gives everyone something to do, and creates a wonderful sense of praise.

Anyway, I thought that the service sheet might be useful to some readers of this blog. If you would like see, go HERE to download the pdf.
