The Ordination of Stephen Hill

On Saturday 3rd May (the Feast of the Holy Apostles Philip and James) Stephen Hill was ordained to the priesthood at St Stephen's Coomera, south of Brisbane.

The preacher at the ordination was Father Andrew Kinmont. You can read his homily HERE.

After the Ordination Mass, Patmos House parishioner and artist, Glen Mahoney, presents Father Stephen with a painting he finished at 3.00 a.m. that same morning!

What a wonderful day that must have been! So sorry we could not be there for the festivities - wut it would have been one heck of a drive!!! The photos of the big day are just great! We shall keep Fr. Stephen Hill in our prayers and Mass intentions today and in our cycle of prayer!
